When I was blessed with the opportunity to be able to host multiple baby showers for several friends in one year, I decided I wanted to start finding ways that could bless the mama to be in ways that meant as little waste as possible for me. This is how I ended up with the […]

I just realized today that I still haven’t shared Mia’s Big Girl Room Mood Board with you. With all the change and stress that’s happened to our lives over the last 4 months, I kind of wanted this to be a no pressure situation and strictly have fun with it. So I worked with only […]
This table has got me thinking, what makes you hold on to your “stuff”? This week I asked you guys what made you love your stuff more and hold on to items just a little longer. Will and I have discussed what is meaningful and important to us and it was interesting to see and […]
Sometimes finding unique decor can be challenging. I even struggle with this myself especially if I feel like all my decor is blending in and becoming boring. Adding small objects to a shelf or table can really bring interest and even meaning to your home. Today I’ve rounded up some small decor objects that I […]
Picking a stain: DIY table makeover. I thought I would dedicate a blog post just to share my experience with choosing a stain for your table. I will share some things I learned and some things I should have applied. Hopefully this saves you time and money and gives you a confidence boost to be […]
Have yall seen my DIY lampshade recently?! I ask because that lampshade inspired this post. Looking back, I really wish I would’ve done a better job filming everything so that I could pull together a really helpful tutorial for you because it was such a quick and easy project! Gingham Everything Anyway I have been […]
with you my “new” DIY highchair makeover. Some big changes were needed in our breakfast nook ever since we got our new breakfast table. First of all, the table top was made thicker than our current table so Mia’s screw on table chair won’t work anymore. I’m really not sad about it because it was always dirty and it wasn’t the prettiest thing to look at. I was ready for Mia to sit at the table with us so I was on the lookout for something she could sit and slide up to the table just like us.

Sometimes when one thing catches your eye, it inspires you to keep going while it’s good and that is exactly what happened here. I LOVEEE all these items and could […]
Tonight I got a message on Instagram about creating a dual function space. She wanted to create a space that was a kids playroom and an office space. Challenge accepted! Without talking to her any further, this is the first thing that came to my mind. They have this large vaulted ceiling with a window […]
Recently I’ve been thinking about ways I can not only inspire you to try something new, but help you see that you can make your house something special to you. I want this blog to be inspiration and a resource for you so that you can conquer simple home projects as they come and make […]
Would you ever know that all the items here except for the linen tea towel were thrifted?! ME NEITHER! Looking at this shot you’d be blown away that this entire vignette was cheaper than a tank of gas! I wanted to make a mood board inspired by my recent goodwill trip. I am usually a […]
