Hello and welcome!

I am so extremely grateful that you are here. In this blog you will find a little life, a little DIY,  and a whole lot of design! I am so thrilled to be able to start sharing my passion with you all. Turning this passion for design into a career is an absolute dream come true. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be doing this at *almost* 30 years old! Thank you for allowing me to do what I love.

Here are 3 short and simple facts about me.

1. I am half-Thai. My mom was born in Thailand. For 20 something years I was ashamed to tell anyone because I grew up “different” than my friends, but now I embrace it and realize that it’s one of the things that makes me, me. We went to Thailand for the first time in June of 2019 and it was a blast. No more hiding the fact that my main dinner growing up was ramen noodles with hot dogs!  🙂 
2. I am a part time hospice nurse. I have been a nurse since 2015 and can fortunately say that I have now found my home in nursing. Hospice was not necessarily something that I knew from the get go that I wanted to do. It is something I truly feel that God led me to. I enjoy getting to help patients in a time that is so fragile for them. 
3. I have a husband, 1 year old daughter, and a crazy, jealous dog. They make my world go round. This year was hard for us in different ways but it came with lots of growth and all I can say is that I am very thankful. You can read my post on how I got to this point right here.
