Would you ever know that all the items here except for the linen tea towel were thrifted?! ME NEITHER! Looking at this shot you’d be blown away that this entire vignette was cheaper than a tank of gas! I wanted to make a mood board inspired by my recent goodwill trip.
I am usually a fan of a light and bright tablescapes but I’m actually loving this moody board. The vase is tagged from pottery barn and it is on sale for $30 right now. I love the unexpected checkerboard that I got for $2 today so I had to find one for you too. It adds great depth that a regular cutting board can’t do. I’m in love with the vintage art and for $120 for the set of 2 on original art, it’s actually not bad of a deal.

As always shop your local thrift stores first. My goal here is not to make you shop these items, but to just keep your mind open when you do shop. Let your imagination run wild! You never know what you may find. I plan on sharing a blog post with tips on thrifting so stay tuned!
Where we discuss all things design, obviously.
